Yamatoshizuku Yamahai Junmai

Akita Seishu is made up of two Breweries: Dewatsuru Brewery is located in a mountainous area in the southern part of Akita Prefecture and Kariho Brewery is located in Daisen City in Akita Prefecture. Each brewery produces its own unique sake. "Kariho,” which is fragrant and crisp. "Yamatoshizuku," which has a refined aroma and smooth quality. The foundations of the high-quality sake derive from the medium hard water from Ou Mountains. The melted snow from the Ou mountains penetrates deep underground and pumped through a 13m-thick gravel layer found in the Dewa Hills. Their goal is to contribute to society by preserving and learning from tradition while creating new and valuable products.

The Yamatoshizuku Yamahai Junmai is brewed with high-grade sake rice from local farmers that only use organic fertilizers, combined with spring water that contains minerals derived from its journey through 15-million-year-old fossils. This sake is carefully brewed via the traditional Yamahai method. It has rich umami notes on the tongue, with a pleasant and crisp finish.
