Tasting Notes from Sake School of America Specialist:
This cup sake is a hidden gem full of rich maple syrup, violets, cream cheese, and nutty aromas. The broad structure and juicy full body dip into a semi-dry finish laced with umami and cedar. Pair with yakitori, yakisoba, simmered fish, tempura, and more.
Carefully prepared by Sannai Toji while preserving tradition, Akita Shurui Seizoh creates local sake (jizake) true to the Akita Prefecture using high-quality rice from Akita Prefecture and the pure groundwater of the Ou Mountains.
