Kinka Saba is a superb type chub mackerel fished from one of the finest fishing ground--offshore of Kinkasan (a small island in Miyagi Prefecture). Raised in the cold sea of Sanriku with high-quality feed, these Kinka saba are plump with plenty of delicious healthy fat.
Introducing two new items: whole Kinka Saba and pre-filleted and vinegar cured Kinka Saba. Whole round Kinka Saba is unseasoned and may be utilized for variety of dishes beyond Japanese cuisine. Kinka Shime Saba Fillet is delicious served as is or step it up and lightly sear the skin with a blowtorch to enhance its umami and smoky aroma.
