Mame Aji (baby Japanese horse mackerel) caught off the beautiful coast in Kagoshima Prefecture. Each Mame Aji has been cleaned - gutted and gills removed - and lightly dusted with potato starch. Simply deep fry for few minutes and serve.
Mame Aji Karaage is great on its own or arranged into an exquisite traditional Japanese dish called Nanban-zuke (vinegar marinated deep fried fish).
