Mark Ferguson, A former graduate of the “Royal Bartending School”, when it was located in Ontario, California. Always having admiration for the Craft of mixing cocktails, this is where Mark’s journey began. A few years after graduating, Mark purchased the school and has been on a mission ever since. Doing his own version of “Bar Rescue”. Wanting to make something very unique, he moved his newly acquired school inside his existing business, “Ferguson’s Gallery”, Located in the Arts Colony in Downtown Pomona Ca. Along with the new and improved look, he has enhanced and updated the curriculum, as well. Mark currently teaches, “The Art of Mixology”, a 40-hour certification course.
Mark is also the Owner of “Midnight Monkey Lounge”, A sort of speakeasy Bar, frequently open during the Downtown Pomona 2nd Saturday Art Walk.
To continue with Mark’s positive motto, “Always try to learn something new every day”, he has recently completed the “All Grain” Brewing program offered at California State Polytechnic University Pomona. Beer Making, another new-found craft to appreciate & enjoy!
With literally a thirst for knowledge, Mark continues to experiment with new and different flavor profiles, whether infusing fresh herbs & fruit into cocktails, tossing pumpkin & fresh ginger into a recipe for some seasonal brew or just pairing foods for entertaining, Mark continues on his journey of exciting new flavors and major creativity.
